Co-Founder Business Development

We are looking for a co-founder to build the business side of KLUG Robotics, from the first farm pilots to funding and sales.

What you will do

  • Develop the business model, pricing, and go-to-market strategy
  • Build relationships with cucumber farms, growers' associations and agricultural machinery partners
  • Set up pilot projects and bring farm feedback into product decisions
  • Lead fundraising through grants, business angels and venture capital

Profile

Background in business, agricultural economics, or industrial engineering; experience in sales, business development, or startups; interest in agriculture and robotics; native German language skills are preferable (our customers will speak mostly German).

Open role

Technical Co-Founder (Mechanical / Mechatronic)

We are looking for a co-founder with a mechanical or mechatronic engineering background, a strong interest in robotics, and hands-on experience in the design and development of agricultural machinery.

What you will do

  • Design robust mechanical structures and soft grippers for the harvesting module
  • Integrate actuators, sensors, cameras, and control with the AI/vision system
  • Build and test prototypes in the lab and in field trials on farms
  • Prepare the move from prototype to a product that can be manufactured

Profile

Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or agricultural engineering; strong CAD and prototyping skills; motivated to build robust machines for real-world farming.
